The Ford Motor Company and NASCAR have teamed up to offer a new competitior in the 2nd tier of NASCAR'S Nationwide series. Though the design will share no mechanicals whatsoever with the production Mustang in compliance with NASCAR’s regulations, the basic appearance of the race car will be similar to the street car design.
The #16 car as seen here will be driven by Colin Braun.
